This case describes a real life problem faced by the management and employees of a well-run enterprise. The management and employees were unable to tackle the problem on their own and also failed to win the cooperation of the local police and the judiciary system. They eventually succumbed to the pressure of their tormentor and lost their sole bread earning source.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
The case is designed for use in the Islamic Ethics class. The case will provide students an opportunity to consider the dynamics of conflict management in a society where justice is often delayed or denied bt government agencies. A society where outlaws reign, the fear of being killed by them makes people reluctant in uniting to fight for their rights. To make students realise how fear too its toll on professionals and non-professionals alike.
