DESCRIPTION:
Khawaja Hassan, CEO of Sudhaar was facing a dilemma regarding the departure of his Project Manager. This was the second time in two years that such a situation had arisen. He was now faced with two problems: to find an immediate replacement for the Project Manager to complete the project on time; and to frame a long term retention strategy of his staff to avoid any negative impact on the performance of his organization. Sudhaar was working to eradicate child labour in Pakistan through education. In order to achieve the project's objectives it had become imperative to develop systematic policies for employee training and development so that the turnover could be reduced.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
1) To familiarize the participants with the social issue of drug uses and its harm to individuals. 2) To assess the importance of social reintegration of drug users with their families and the larger community. 3) To evaluate the nature of managerial competencies required to manage the provison of services in a rehabilitation centre. 4) To equip participants with the skills to prepare a campaign for fund raising.
