In December 1993, Mr S.C. Subjally, Chief Executive Officer, The Muslim Insurance Company Limited was glancing through a statement showing performance of the company, while sitting in his south zone office in Karachi, Pakistan. While he could draw some satisfaction from the financial performance of the company during his three and half years tenure, he was not very happy over the persistence of its old culture that he was attempting to change.
