DESCRIPTION:

This exercise provides participants the opportunity to visualize elements of financial statements of different organizations. They learn to use their knowledge of the organizations and definitions of elements in financial statements to visualize financial statements. The teaching objectives of the exercise include: Introduction of financial statements of different non-profit organizations; increased understanding of different elements of financial statements; Ability to identify and evaluate relationships between various elements of financial statements and application of organization specific information to financial statements.
