ABSTRACT:

In mid December 1988, Mr Imran Bukhari, Assistant Manager Finance, Shakarganj Mills Limited (SML), Jhang, Pakistan, was going through relevant data to prepare a feasibility report for a board mill project. A couple of weeks earlier Mr Altaf Saleem, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at SML, had said to Mr Bukhari: A particle board plant is lying idle at Crescent Boards Ltd. I think if we can move it over to SML and use our excess bagasse, it might be a good idea. Please have a look at it.
